Potato salad/chunky salad &russian salad Recipe

Potato salad
Ingredients:
  • Potatoes diced and cooked (not mash they still need the dice shape)
  • Boiled eggs
  • Parsley(if you using dry rehydrate first)
  • Garlic(chopped very fine use fresh garlic for best results)
  • Olive oil (if you don't like the taste use light olive oil and mix it with canola oil half/half)
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice or vinegar(use real lemon or stick to vinegar)
  Preparation Once potatoes are cool (that will keep the shape) shred the eggs and in a bowl mix the rest of the ingredients try them before pouring into the salad.I did not use amounts because you will be using same as in your regular potato salad .



Russian Salad
Ingredients: 
  • Carrots 
  • Potatoes
  • Sweet Peas
  • Mayoneese
  • Salt
Preparation
Just boil all start with the carrots usually take the longest then potatoes finally peas don't over do them pinch them with fork to see if tender enough we don't want mash salad :) finally 
add mayonnaise if you want homemade kind just ask i will post the recipe.

  2. Is a translation from Spanish Ensalada rusa I grew up eating this I will do a research on it and see where it comes from but Argentina is full of European roots.Like I am 3rd generation descendant of Lithuanian and Spanish and further down the line Swiss ,German and Italian.
    Most of our cooking has a little bit of each culture.
