Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 11/4 cup of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tea spoon of vanilla essence
- 21/4 cup of flour
- 3 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt(this is for beating the egg whites)
- 1 cup or so of chopped nuts (i prefer walnuts)
- 2/3 cup of milk
Preparation:
- Beat the butter till is soft add the sugar little by little; then the egg yolks and finally the vanilla mixed very good till creamy consistency.
- Now shift all your dry ingredients but the salt and mix with the nuts add your first mix to this and the milk again all together.
- In another bowl mix the egg whites and the salt till written point or snow point with involvements movements( by this i mean don't stir it be very carefully not to flatten the egg whites this will help your cake to raise even better)
- Put the preparation in a mold previously sprayed with butter I prefer the bunt kind and cook on moderate fire 350 for around 1 hour and 15 minutes check after 45 .
- Once cool get out of the mold and frost decorate at will I always like chocolate for this kind
